7,000 lbs. Spring Trailer Axle with The Option of Hubs, Brakes, and Springs
Key Features:
Configurable Brake Options: Choose between a standard idler setup or a complete electric brake and drum system to suit your trailer's requirements.
3,500 lbs. Leaf Springs: Pair with 3500 lb. capacity leaf springs for load support and stability.
Hubface & Spring Center Options: Provide us with custom measurements so that we can ensure a perfect fit.
Trailer Brakes: Select your choice of brake for a complete drum and brake assembly. These options include a 12x2" self adjusting electric trailer brake or a 12x2" Hydraulic Trailer Brake.
Stud Size: Choose between a 1/2" or 9/16" stud size for your new hubs.
Lug Nuts: Receive a set of new coned lug nuts when you add hubs.
Durable Construction: Built from high-strength steel and coated for enhanced resistance to corrosion and wear. Axle beam is 3" in diameter with a .25" thick wall. All axles are manufactured in the USA.
EZ-Lube Spindles: This Trailer Axle comes with EZ-Lube grease zerks on the end of the spindles allowing for easy grease top ups and annual maintenance.
Spring Setup: This Trailer Axle has the option to be fitted with Underslung or Overslung Springs at the selected spring center.
Camber: This Trailer Axle comes with standard half camber. If your axle needs full camber please specify during the ordering process.
Installation
Spring Axles are an easy-to-install option, no welding is required! Spring Axles are ideal for their easy upkeep. Their replaceable components make them the more economical trailer option when compared to Torsion Axles. Do you drive over gravel or uneven roads? Spring Axles use equalizers to distribute the weight of the load evenly over axles, especially with tandem configurations. Trailers carrying cargo over gravel or bumpy roads can depend on spring axles for stability. Maintenance and Repair:
Replacement components are available for wear and tear. Spring Axles are a better option for trailer owners and companies who want to avoid full axle replacement expenses. All the wearing items can be replaced by unbolting and bolting on the new parts.
